Itinerary for 10 Days from Casablanca to Desert

DAY 1: CASABLANCA CITY DAY TOUR

In this ten days tour we will discover the Sahara desert. On our first day of the tour, we will pick you up around 08 am from your hotel. We will start by visiting the Hassan II mosque, the mosque is the largest mosque in morocco and the second in Africa, and it minaret is the tallest in the world. Next, we visit the Casablanca beach, and Cathedral of Sacré Coeur. Overnight is spend in hotel in Casablanca.

DAY 2: CASABLANCA – MEKNES

Today we will drive to Meknes city, on our way we will make a stop at the capital of Morocco, Rabat city. In Rabat, we will visit the historical fortified Chellah, with its huge octagonal defensive gate. We will also visit the unfinished Mosque “Tower Hassan”; the historical landmark was built by King Hassan II and dedicated to his father, Mohamed V, for honoring him as the father of the independence. Next, we visit the, Udayas Kasbah, with it beautiful white and blue buildings and streets. After that, we will continue on our journey to Meknes, where we will spend the night.

DAY 3: MEKNES – VOLUBILIS – FEZ

In today’s program, we will discover the imperial city of Meknes, starting by the old Gate of Bab Mansour, Sahrij Swani, and the old Medina with its souk …Next, we will head to the old Roman ruins city, Volubilis. The site is a UNESCO world heritage site that unveils many information about the ancient Roman Empire. After that, we will head to Fez, where we will spend the night.

DAY 4: FEZ

Today’s program is about discovering Fes sightseeing. We wake up early, to meet our local guide at 09 am. We start by exploring the old Fez Medina a labyrinth of more than 9000 alleys. The Medina streets are full of handicrafts being made by artisans using age-old methods, vibrant colors and sounds. Next, we visit the tanneries at Fez El Bali. This some sights that we will see among other we will let you discover.

DAY 5: FEZ – MIDELT – ERRACHIDIA – MERZOUGA

On the fifth day of our journey, we will head to Merzouga, passing by the Atlas Mountains, Ifrane city, some amazing landscapes and the cedar forest, full of Monkeys in Azrou town. Our lunch would be in Midelt city. Next, we will drive through Errachidia, Ziz valley, and Erfoud to get to Merzouga, where we will spend the night.

 DAY 6: MERZOUGA SAHARA DESERT

Today’s program is all about discovering Merzouga desert and the nomadic life of Berbers in the region. We will start the day by waking you up early for the sunset scenery. We will have our breakfast before starting to discover the oases in the area. We will visit the Khamlia village too, home of the Gnaoua music, then we will visit the nomad barbers before heading back to the camp.

DAY 7: MERZOUGA – OUARZAZATE

The breakfast begin the day, then we will drive heading to Ouarzazate, passing by Todra Gorges where we will stop for about half hour, to take a walk between the cliffs and river in this beautiful 15 km valley with date palms, ending with a spectacular Gorge, mainly used for rock climbing and picnics. Next, we will pass by Dades valley, roses valley, to get finally to Ouarzazate where we will spend the night.

DAY 8: OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH

Today we will visit a UNESCO world heritage site sense 1987, which is the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Many films was filmed here such as ‘the Mummy’, ‘The Jewel of the Nile’, ‘Gladiator’, and ‘Kingdom of Heaven’. After that, we will head back to Marrakech, passing pay the Atlas Mountains, and the 2260m high, Tizi N Tichka pass. Overnight in hotel at Marrakech.

DAY 9: Marrakech

Today’s program is about discovering Marrakech city. You will meet with a local guide at 09 am, to start visiting the most historical and important Marrakech sightseen. Starting by, the gorgeous Bahia palace built in 19th century, the Saadian tombs a 17th century royal necropolis, the Koranic School of Ben Youssef, and the Koutoubia mosque built in 12th century. Next, we will visit Marrakech Souks, the Majorelle Gardens, and the Jemaa el-Fnaa square.

 DAY 10: TRANSFER TO MARRAKECH OR CASABLANCA AIRPORT

On the last day of our journey together, you may choose where you would like to transfer, Marrakech or Casablanca airport. By that, our services ends.
