Itinerary for 5 Days from Fes to desert

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erg Chebbi Dunes.

Our 5 days tour from Fes start’s by picking you up from your hotel around 08 am. Then we drive heading to Erg Chebbi dunes. Our first stop would be at Ifrane city, or the Switzerland of Morocco. You will be amazed by the city design, beauty and cleanliness. Next, we stop at the cedar forest of Azrou city; the forest is full of Apps that you may play with. Our lunch would be at Midelt city.

In the afternoon, we will head to Errachidia city, passing by the Tizi N Talghamt pass, and stopping at panoramic view of the Ziz valley. Next, we drive through Aoufous and Erfoud to finally get to Erg chebbi dunes at Merzouga village. In Merzouga, we will spend the night and have our dinner at a hotel.

Day 2: Merzouga – Hassi labied – Khamlia – Nomad family – fossil Site – Tour of the dunes

Today’s program is all about discovering the desert area and its inhabitants. We start our day, as always by having breakfast, then we will take on a 4×4 trip to visit the black volcanic rocks of marble fossils, and the nomad families living in tents. Afterwards we will visit the Khamlia village, home of the Gnawa music. Next place to visit is the lake of Merzouga or ‘Dayte Sarji’ as the locals call it, the lake forms in springtime which attract pink flamingos and wildlife.

Our lunch and break would be in Merzouga or Hassi Labied. Next, we will visit the nearby Oases, then we will get back to the hotel. On the hotel, and after relaxing with some cup of tea, we will ride camels heading to the camp where we will spend the night; the camp is in the middle of the dunes. We will enjoy the camel trekking experience along with the sunset scenery. The night is spent in Berber tents at the camp.

Day 3: Erg Chebbi Dune-Erfoud-Tinjdad-Todra Gorges-Boumalne Du Dades

On the third day of our four days desert tour, we will wake up early to enjoy the sunrise. After that, we will have breakfast. Next, we ride camels back on an amazing camel trekking experience. At the hotel you may have a shower if you would like.

We depart towards Tinghir passing by Erfoud and Tinjdad to have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra gorges via Tinghir. Stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. At Todra Gorges, we will enjoy the marvelous 1500m high Canyons, while hiking on foot. Later on, we drive to Boumalne Dades, and make a stop for the panoramic view of the Dades valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Boumalne Du Dades -Valley of Roses-Kelaa M’Gouna-Ouarzazate.

On the fourth day of our journey together, we depart to Ouarzazate passing by, Kalla Mgouna and Skoura. We will visit the amazing Dades Gorges with its beautiful rock formations. Next, we will visit the nomad families, on their tents. We will discover their way of living and thinking, while drinking a cup of tea of their made. Later on, we will drive to Kalla M’Gouna, where we will have our lunch. In the afternoon, we will drive to Skoura, where we will visit the 17^th century Kasbah of Amridil, before getting back to Ouarzazate where we will have dinner and spend the night a hotel.

Day 5: Ouarzazate-Ait benhaddou-Telouet-Tizi N’tichka Pass- High Atlas Mounatins-Marrakech.

In today program, we have many Kasbahs to visit; therefore, we will have our breakfast early, to start discovering these Kasbahs. Beginning by, Taourirt Kasbah, then the famous Ait Ben Haddou. The Kasbah is a UNESCO world heritage site since 1987. We will visit the Atlas film studios as well. We will have a break for lunch, before continuing our discovering. This time it is the Telouet Kasbah.

Our next and last destination for this journey would be Marrakech, driving to it, passing by the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N Chika pass. Upon arriving to Marrakech, we will drop you off at you accommodation.
