Itinerary for 6 Days from Fes to Merzouga Desert

DAY 1: FES-IFRAN-AZROU-ZIZ ERRACHIDIA- ZIZ VALLEY- ERFOUD- MERZOUGA

Today program begin by picking you up at 08 Am. We start driving on our journey to discover the south of Morocco. On our way, we will pass by Ifrane city, then Azrou town, where stop by the cedar forest, famous by its macaques apps. After that, we continue our journey towards Merzouga, passing by Midelt, Errachidia, Ziz Valley, and Erfoud. In Merzouga, we will have some rest with a cup of tea. Then we will ride camels heading to the camp where we will spend the night, on an amazing camel trekking experience. We will get to our camp before the sundown, so we will climb the highest duns to enjoy the panoramic view. Then we will have dinner and spend the night at the camp.

DAY 2: MERZOUGA- VISITING SMOLL VILLAGES -KHAMLIA VILLAGE

Today we will wake up early to enjoy the sunrise. Then we will go on another camel trekking experience, back to the hotel where you may have a shower if you like. Next, we will start on trip to discover the Sahara desert region and its inhabitants. We will visit the nomad families at their tents, and discover their traditional whys of living. Our lunch would be at Khamlia, you will have the chance to listen to their traditional Gnawa music. The last thing on today’s program is to get you back to the hotel where you will spend the night and have dinner.

DAY 3: MERZOUGA-ERISSANI -VISITING THE MARKET -CAMELS RIDE

In today’s program, we will begin by having breakfast. Next, we drive to Rissani town, where we will visit the old souk, have lunch, before driving back to Khamlia village, where we will spend the night, with a the amazing Gnawa rhythms.

DAY 4: MERZOUGA- RISSANI –ERFOUD- JORF- TINJDAD -TOUDRA GORGES – DADES VALLEY

As usual, the breakfast starts the day; you will have it at the camp. Next, we drive towards Dades valley, passing by Rissani town again. We continue driving heading to Boumalne Dades, passing by many barber villages, such as Tinjdad and Tinghir. We will spend the night in Boumalne.

DAY 5: DADES VALLEY- SKOURA VALLEY- ROSES VALLEY- OUARZAZTE

On the fifth day of our journey, we drive leave Boumalne Dades to head to Ouarzazate, passing by Skoura valley and roses valley of Kalaa Magona. At Ouarzazate, we will have lunch.

The nigh is on a hotel in Ouarzazate.

DAY 6: OURZAZATE- MARRAKECH

We will wake up early today, have breakfast, and start exploring, beginning by the famous Atlas film studios, where a lot of your favorite movies are made such as ‘the Mummy’, ‘The Jewel of the Nile’, ‘Gladiator’, ‘Kingdom of Heaven’. After that, we will head back to Marrakech, passing pay the Atlas Mountains, and the 2260m high, Tizi N Tichka pass. We get to Marrakech on evening/ night, we will drop you off at you accommodation.
